On August 7th, we celebrated the graduation of the 2024 Central Virginia Regional Firefighter Academy
Goochland Fire-Rescue and Emergency Services had the opportunity to join with Goochland Sheriff’s Office to participate in a video for DMV’s Buckle Up Campaign.
We are pleased to announce Mr. Anthony J. “Tony” Gordon has been selected to serve as our part-time career Deputy Fire-Rescue Chief.
On July 16th Goochland County Department of Fire-Rescue Department & Emergency Services was presented with another American Heart Association “Mission Lifeline Award”.

At 06:33 this morning Goochland Fire-Rescue units were dispatched to a dog in an abandoned well deep in the woods.
