Henley Fire-Rescue Training Center
The Goochland County Fire-Rescue Training Center was started in 1981 with a masonry burn building. The building was built with support from Virginia Department of Fire Programs funding. Over the years, many site improvements have been made, including the acquisition of a new modular classroom to replace our original classroom. We have also added training equipment, including the Dräger System 64, a mobile LPG live fire training prop. Most recently, Goochland has secured a new burn building grant and is in the build stages for a new container-style live fire training building. We look forward to this addition to our facilities, and to continued updates in the future.
